The EKPark Layout   More about EKPark

PHASE 1 OF EKPARK WILL OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ON SATURDAY 14TH AUGUST. DOORS WILL OPEN AT NOON. PLEASE NOTE BEGINNERS AND NOVICES SHOULD NOT ATTEND ON THIS DAY. The ramps are being built by a team of experienced ramp builders and utilise laser cutting technologies to give the highest quality and finest riding surfaces available anywhere. The EKPark layout has also been designed by Dave Sowerby who has a first class reputation for unique exciting designs. Indeed many of the lines, bowls and hips are only made possible in Dave's layout by employing laser cutting to provide a park that has many elements closer to a flowing concrete style design than a traditional wooden park.

Add to this...

  • the ability for customers to arrive and leave whenever they please and pay only for the time they have used in the park
  • a foam pit for perfecting those difficult tricks
  • a top class cafe offering a relaxing area to enjoy a mix of quick bites and high quality meals

  • hire equipment for personal protection and riding
  • video and projection equipment for showing our members latest video edits and to aid trick development
  • highly experienced staff
  • and a shop selling a wide range of equipment and clothing...

...you won’t ever want to leave!

Mums and Dads can drop the kids off at one of our lessons, or if they are old enough and proficient enough they can leave them to use the park for as long as they like while they go and use some of the other facilities that Playsport has to offer which include - HappyDays Adventure Play and Diner, 9 hole tribute golf course, 2 tier golf driving range, 5-a-side football and the
American Golf shop.

EKPark features ramps to suit everyone including a street area with various banks, ledges and rails, a bowl with 5ft and 7ft deep sections, a 4ft mini bowl, jump box and even a foam pit to practice your jump tricks into.
