EKPark is a brand new 20,000 sq ft indoor skatepark, one of the
biggest in the UK and has been designed by BMX rider Dave Sowerby.
The Park features bowls, street section with banks and ledges,
a mini bowl and will soon include a foam pit and larger bowl too.
We offer a unique riding experience for an indoor park as it has
been manufactured using the latest Computer Aided Design and Computer
Aided Manufacturing technologies in order to allow us to build
a complex design that flows and includes ramps you would normally
find built from concrete. It incorporates areas for both professionals
and beginners alike.
We offer LESSONS on a regular basis with equipment available for
HIRE and have a SHOP stocking everything you will ever need to
take part.
Customer service is close to our hearts and so our staff have
all been individually chosen and trained to ensure that your experience
at our facility is second to none.
Mums and Dads can drop the kids off at one of our lessons, or
if the kids are old enough and proficient enough they can leave
them to use the park for as long as they like while they go and
use some of the other facilities that Playsport has to offer which
include HappyDays
Adventure Play and Diner, 9
hole tribute golf course, 2
tier golf driving range, 5-a-side football and the American
Golf shop.
Rules for Protective Gear:
We insist that all users under 16 years old MUST WEAR A HELMET
AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE SKATEPARK. We also recommend that knee
and elbow pads are worn at all times. Older participants should
also follow this guidance.
Access for Kids and Beginners:
Anyone of 6 years and upwards can ride in the park as long as
they can prove their proficiency and lessons are on hand to get
them up to that level quickly. Some areas of the park are easier
than others and we encourage improvers to join in.
All children under 16 years old must provide a completed consent
form when they first visit the park. Failure to do so will result
in refusal to participate. Consent forms can be completed in advance
by downloading from the website here, or alternatively completed
on arrival. Consent forms need only be completed once –
we will hold a record for all future visits.
